MEET OUR FULL-TIME STAFF! 😊

I’m Maggie Rockwood, and I’ve been with MPR full time since 2019, but I’ve worked in some capacity here since 2011 when I started as a 16-year-old lifeguard. I’ve worked in almost every aspect of parks & rec and love it all. I started in aquatics, done special events, overseen the community center, ran programming, and now am the director of a great team. My team and I are committed to providing experiences and recreation opportunities to all members of the community; from our littles in the itty-bitty programs to seniors in our amazing fitness classes and everyone in between, at an affordable cost. I truly believe MPR has something to offer everyone in our community, and we are excited to share it with you!

MEET OUR FULL-TIME STAFF! 😊

My name is Emily Dew, and I am the Recreation Coordinator for Maryville Parks and Recreation. I have been with MPR for a little over three years. In my role, I primarily coordinate our youth sports programs, including basketball, volleyball, baseball/softball, and Itty Bitty Clinics. I also oversee part-time staff, including officials and scorekeepers.

I am very familiar with the Maryville area, as I am a Pickering, MO, native. I graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Health Science with an emphasis in Exercise Science. I love staying active and taking advantage of the fitness spaces here at MCC. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and cat, being outdoors, and staying active. I am also currently in the process of planning my wedding, as I am getting married later this year!

One of the things I enjoy most about my work is creating a space where local kids can grow in their sport, build confidence, and develop the fundamental skills that will help them succeed as they move into the next stage of their athletics.
