A custom order install today for for Stephanie and James in Shelby! We color-matched the dark red to the siding on their new barndominium. This poinsettia pattern is 6ft x 6ft and the black background really makes it pop with their black fascia and roof. ❤️

These ladies did a great job this weekend during our inaugural two day barn quilt ladder class! We also had folks join us one day of their choice to do a two sided mailbox hanger. We can't wait to see them all proudly displayed! 🥰

Another day of painting barn quilts on the new Mitten State Barn Quilt trailer. We had to end early because it was getting too cold to paint!

Many people have asked what a barn quilt is so here is an explanation: A barn quilt is a large, decorative piece of outdoor art inspired by traditional quilt blocks. Painted on wood or Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) and displayed on barns, homes, and buildings, barn quilts use bold geometric patterns, vibrant colors, and clean lines to tell a story—often reflecting local heritage, family history, or personal style. Rooted in the folk art traditions of quilting, barn quilts bring warmth, creativity, and a sense of community to both rural and urban landscapes.
