Auditions Tonight! 6:00 to 8:00 at the Pocahontas County Opera House.

Second day of auditions for the Pocahontas County Drama Workshop's production of Catch Me If You Can will be held Tuesday, July 14th from 6:00 until 8:00 at the Pocahontas County Opera House in Marlinton.

Auditions will consist of cold reading from the script and should only last 15 to 30 minutes. You do not need to be there right at 6:00, but show up before 8:00. You won't need to stay the entire time.

There are 5 male roles and 2 female roles available.

Rehearsals for most roles will be two to three days a week until the week of the production. Depending on cast availability, expected days for rehearsals are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Several roles will only be needed once a week until the end of August.

The production will be at the Pocahontas County Opera House on September 11th and 12th at 7:00 PM, and the 13th at 2:00.

Everyone is welcome. No prior experience necessary.

Come be a part of community theatre in Pocahontas County! Life is better with a little drama.

This fall's production of Catch Me If You Can has nothing to do with the Tom Hanks/Leonardo DiCaprio movie.

An advertising man who has brought his bride to the boss' mountain lodge for a honeymoon calls in the local police to investigate her sudden disappearance. Enter a pretty young girl who insists over his protests that she is the missing wife. A priest backs up her story. A funny little man who owns a delicatessen enters and before you know it there are two murders at the isolated lodge.

Auditions are coming up for Catch Me If You Can
to be performed at the Pocahontas County Opera House
September 11,12, & 13. Directed by Jeff Marcum

Audition dates are Thursday July 9 from 6-8
and Tuesday July 14 from 6-8

Characters:

Daniel Corban

A newlywed with a missing wife tries to maintain his sanity
while a zany roller coaster of accusations fly his way.

Inspector Levine

An overworked police detective who must decide if there
has been a crime committed before he can begin to solve it.

Father Kelleher

Aims to keep the peace while being drawn further and
further into a conspiracy.

Elizabeth Corban

Stands to inherit a fortune if she can stay ahead of an
elaborate con.

Mrs. Parker

Helps twist the plot as only a hapless bimbo can.

Everett Parker

Thinks that he’s covering up a marital indiscretion
while screwing up a perfectly good alibi.

Sidney

Delivers sandwiches and bites off more than
he can chew.
