Staff from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs and Indiana Landmarks have recently come to Marion to tour Ridley Tower!
Once listed on Indiana Landmarks’ 10 Most Endangered places list, Ridley Tower now stands as a symbol of downtown Marion’s ongoing revitalization. Thanks to Mike Halstead and his firm, this historic building is now home to 29 market-rate apartments and multiple businesses like FC Tucker Realty Center, Obi's Barbecue, and The Jigsaw Junction.
“The Ridley Tower project in Marion shows the importance of public and private partnerships and the transformational effects they can have on a community,” - OCRA Executive Director Denny Spinner.

When The Jigsaw Junction moved into its new location in Ridley Tower, owner Ashley Hurd wanted to expand the business beyond puzzles and board games. With the addition of Ashley’s Ice Cream Café, Ashley took the next step in her mission to provide an environment that fosters genuine, memorable experiences.
