🎄Our top 5 Christmas books (so far)🎄

5. Mouse's first Christmas. Just a cute little story about a little mouse looking at different Christmas stuff.

4. Llama, llama holiday drama. We both loved the "Llama, Llama, red pajamas" and this one is also a gem. It teaches patience before Christmas!

3. Pete the Cat saves Christmas. When Santa got sick Pete jumped in to save the Christmas! Even though he is small, he gave it all!

2. The Snowman. You don't have to read this one, there are only pictures, but it's cute and my toddler loved to look at all the details and guess - what's happening.

1. The Stick Man. The stick man got separated from his family and he needs a miracle to come back home! I honestly don't know why, but my daughter loved this book the most 😂 We've read it too many times!

How my advent works 😁

7 days, 6 tasks each day! 3 crafts and 3 active tasks.

Everything is super easy to prep (I did it for myself and I am VERY lazy 😁). And all you'll need is either ready to print or you'll definitely have at home!

3 board games we play with my toddler!

I love board games and as soon as my kid turned 1.5 I started to look for some board games to play with her! And I found some cool games!

🧩Where's bear? Super-simple game: you hide the toy bear in one of the rooms and your kid looks for it. Then you can change. You can also stack the blocks and looks for objects in the rooms!

🧩Get up for pup. Adorable game in which you have to feed 4 puppies! With toy bones (my toddler loves the idea). And the twist is: you have to either jump, or crawl, or go backwards to reach the puppy. A lot of fun even if you don't actually play😄

🧩Acorn soup. My toddler got the idea at once! You just take a recipe, add the ingredients to the pot, stir it and "taste" it😄

PS. All three are by "Peaceable Kingdom" and I love the quality and the details!

What board games do you play with your toddler? Share in comments, I would love to find some more games for us!

My new Halloween printable is out👻 🎃!

Imagine that: your kid gets a phone call from the Dreadfort mayor, asking him/her to help finding 5 missing monsters! And not because every other guardian was eaten but also because your kid is the best at completing difficult tasks.

Fun for the whole family!

If you want it, just comment with 🎃

Our top 5 Halloween themed books for 2 yo.

Not scary but fun and cute for little ones!

🎃Creepy pair of underwear! Funny and easy to explain to a toddler.

🎃Where is my Mummy? A bed-time story for little mummies. Cute and teaches about evening routine.

🎃The scariest book ever. A hilarious story about a ghost who is scared of going into creepy woods.

🎃Monsters on the broom. The wheels on the bus but Halloween-style! My daughter loved to sing along with me (I wish there was a song on Spotify!)

🎃Bow-Wow's Nightmare Neighbors. A comic about a dog whose bed was stolen by ghostly cats. We loved it!

Bonus: The Little Lady Who Was Not Afraid Of Anything. Teaches kids to not be afraid of anything!

I got a couple of ideas for kids' quests from all the books😄

On September 28th we played my quiz "Parenting Safari"😁 for toddler parents for the first time!

I loved it but again, first time is never the best one😅 and I am a perfectionist, so... It's never good enough!

Anyway!

🔥 Still annoyed that there is no free app with all features I want for quiz making. They all cost money!

🔥 Parenting and playing a quiz is possible! But better when parents can take turns.

🔥 There was no warning about the next round start and people missed a couple of questions while watching kids.

Especial thanks to the Buddy's Playhouse for helping with set up and clean up. Great place for toddler parties or parties with toddlers!

Our favorite fall activities with my 2 yo!

🍂 Decorating pumpkins of all sorts. With paint, cloth, stickers (stickers are the best), anything! If you have a lot of pumpkins and a lot of sticky stuff - can be an entertainment for a whole day!

🍂My favorite craft as a kid: glueing food on paper! We did make leaf shapes, and color them. Fun and also takes around 30 minutes!

🍂Paying with leaves and sand! She loved to jump into that pile of leaves (I did brush it with a rake first so that bugs will get the idea of what is coming next😆) And sand with molds - a big hit, too! Also around half an hour, though sand will be everywhere, so better to play outside and don't let kids shake their sandy hands 😆

🍂Making fall themed soap. We ended up making soap she wanted, not fall themed but it still counts!

🍂 Surprisingly interesting activity: eating pomegranate! She was busy with that thing for half an hour! She was very serious, focused AND quiet! It develops fine motor skills, not to mention that it's delicious and full of vitamins 🤣 highly recommend (not on the bed, though)!

One of my favorite things for Halloween is quests 🎃🤣

🎃"Safety training in Hell"🎃

In this one you become an evil spirit and have to go through safety training in Hell.

Not scary at all, but hilarious!

We will check your skills in
* Writing verses and making threatening notes
* Making potions
* Fire safety
* And more!

For companies from 1 to indefinity!
2 hours of fun (but be ready to think!)
You go from station to station and fulfill tasks. In the end, the most knowledgeable spirits get a reward!

If you love Halloween as much as I do, put a + in comments and get a free list of autumn/Halloween crafts for kids!
