One of my last paintings from my trip in July was at Great Falls Virginia. Such an awe inspiring place to be able to set up and paint for a few hours. We started hearing the rumble of thunder as the clouds darkened and decided it was best to pack it in. I finished up at home from the many photos I’d taken.

I’ve been painting in New York for the last couple of weeks. Dodging rain & wind, and some sunshine too😎 The three paintings shown are the ones I chose to enter the shows I’ve been painting for. The two on the right will be in Patchogue at the Paint the Great South Bay show that hangs this week with the reception on Saturday, July 29th from 5-7pm.
The one on the left will be in Bellport Day on Saturday, July 29th from 11-4pm. I have loved being able to paint some of my favorite places on Long Island🥰met some wonderful people while out painting and also met some fabulous artists!
