Today we installed Coastlines, my new outdoor public sculpture for the City of Margate, New Jersey.

Inspired by the essence of the city itself, Coastlines is an abstract geometric sculpture made of aluminum. Designed for a coastal environment, the work explores balance, light, and movement while creating a space where art and the community can connect. Thank you to Miguel Montana for all the support.

It is an honor to contribute a permanent public artwork that becomes part of the city’s landscape and everyday life.

Working across painting, sculpture, and installation, Schott uses wood, acrylic, and metal to create compositions that balance precision with fluidity. Her work invites a contemplative experience, as symmetry and rhythm become tools to evoke motion, presence, and emotional resonance.
Passion in geometry.
Repetition that creates rhythm.
Motion that transforms structure into emotion.

Inside my atelier, passion becomes creation.
Geometric forms, repetition, rhythm, and motion come together in a constant dialogue of textures and light. Each element is carefully placed, each detail intentionally repeated, transforming simple shapes into emotion and movement.
This is where my vision takes form one piece at a time.

Two panels. One language. Infinite possibilities.
A study of repetition, variation, and the beauty of parallel structures.
