Anthony Padula Studio

His subject matter is still life, portraits, and figures, each focusing on light and shadow. Anthony is an artist member of the Marblehead Arts Association, and has been selected by jury for exhibition at The Boston Guild of Artists. Through his one-man shows, competitions and commissions, Anthony's paintings are part of personal collections around the world. Born in 1972 in Marlborough, Massachus

etts, Anthony's journey as a professional artist is not typical. He studies with living master, David Leffel, and has also earned a Bachelor of Science in engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Bentley College. Despite the acceptance of his art, he sees himself as a student, never resting on what has been painted -- but what can be painted. This idea is reflected in his simple artist statement: To make a beautiful painting.

I’m teaching a 3-day oil painting workshop at the Artists Association of Nantucket - Still Life and Landscape. It’s from Wednesday, February 18 - Friday, February 20. 9:30am - 3pm.

It will be in-person at the Visual Arts Center as well as on Zoom, streaming live from the painting studio. Link to sign up in bio. All levels welcome.
