We have had so many funny, sweet, and completely unforgettable moments this season that we could probably write an entire book. 😂❤️

From the innocent looks on kids’ faces while we’re teaching them some of the most basic “common sense” things, but then to being asked for a smoked muskie… to answering, “What is a pasty?” again… and again… and again. 😆

One of the things that still amazes me is how many people travel around Lake Michigan and never actually plan to stop in the little towns along the way. Some of our favorite conversations have been with people who decided to pull in, slow down, and experience our little corner of the U.P.

I’ve even been asked if I’m a “native,” which always makes me laugh a little — like maybe they’re expecting the locals to be part of a zoo exhibit. 😂 I guess we really are a little isolated up here!

But that is honestly part of what makes this place so special.

This season has brought us so many laughs, conversations, stories, kids, families, tourists, and memories. Thank you to everyone who stopped at Yoo-par Scoops and became a small part of our 2026 story. ❤️🍦⛳️

As we’re making our posters for our end-of-season sale, there are a few things we just wanted to say…

❤️ Thank you SO much for an amazing 2026 season! ❤️

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who stopped in, played a round of mini golf, enjoyed some ice cream, supported our little business, and made this summer so much fun.

We will be OPEN our regular business hours this weekend and fully stocked with lots of ice cream so we can continue serving all of your favorite regular menu items! 🍦⛳️
