MHK Clay Collective The MHK Clay Collective has been established to foster a community of local creators willing to exchange knowledge, skills, and inspiration related to clay.

The Collective will organize workshops, technique demonstrations, discussions, and provide additional benefits to support the growth and development of its members.

🔥 Raku Prep Day is Today! 🔥

Thinking about joining our Community Raku Firing on June 27? TODAY (June 13) is the perfect time to get your pieces ready.

Join us at the City Park Satellite Studio from 12-2 pm for a casual prep session where you can throw, trim, glaze, or simply learn more about the raku process. Glazes to be provided.

We'll cover:
🔥 Basic firing information and expectations
🦺 Important safety considerations
❓ Answers to all your raku questions

Whether you're starting a new piece or finishing one that's been sitting on the shelf, we'd love to see you there.

We’re hosting a Members-Only Open Studio this Saturday, May 9, from 10 am to 1 pm at the MAC Satellite Studio in City Park.

Bring your clay and whatever you’re working on ... we’ll have full run of the studio space. Come create, experiment, or just spend some time around fellow clay folks.

This session is open to current, paid members of the Collective. Not a member yet? You can still join at a prorated rate. DM us here or email [email protected] for details

Annual dues are $60 per person and are due now.

Your dues directly support:
• our pursuit of nonprofit status
• shared sales opportunities
• bringing in guest artists and quality programming

📅 Please plan to pay your dues before the March 15 meeting so you’re covered for upcoming sales and free access to events.

You can pay any officer anytime, bring cash or check to the March 15 meeting (3:30 pm at Switch Wicked), or DM us to make arrangements.

The MHK Clay Collective has a shared table at Switch Wicked’s First Saturday Art Market on Friday, February 7, and we’re inviting members to take part.

This is one of the perks of being part of the collective — a chance to:
• sell your work at a community table
• share space with fellow potters
• help represent the local clay scene
