The Grammys - 2024. Before I go on, check out the beautiful music “Symphony” by Daddy Jiggy below. Now to the Grammys African Category. The best music out of the reviewed ones, Water by Tyla WON. To me this is well deserved. No other song in that category even comes close in terms of composition, melody, arrangement and presentation. These young AfroBeats kids think because they have found a way to manipulate the digital space of social media to fake the popularity of their fake musician skills, that they can manipulate the Grammys! An academy that is made up of real music professionals and real musicians that can analyze musical compositions because they have devoted their lives to studying the art of music. My question to my Nigerian brothers is, how many of you compose or engineer your own music? Do you even know what notes are present in music compositions? You buy music from real talented music producers and claim all the glory leaving the true owners of the music to starve! Did you hear that the Grammys played the music of Fela, an extraordinary music composer, “Water” before they presented Tyla the Award? The message is clear: go and learn music composition and make extraordinary music and then you can submit your music for Grammy consideration. Stop buying your way into everything! The Grammys cannot be bought like you bought your fans and followers!
