Stupify Full Version BIYF 🔉 playing this song reminds me that anything is possible and you never know what experiences life has for you. I went from watching Disturbed play this song at OzzFest 2001 to playing it on tour in 2004 and beyond! Great bass line by Fuzz Kmak. I always enjoy his playing. 🤘today I am grateful for my brothers in Disturbed and our fans around the world. (Had a flub about halfway through but that’s rock n roll!) See you all soon! Stay Metal 🤘

Stupify 🔉 The Disturbed Friday BIYF! This playthrough has a unique story for me. I wasn’t in the band when this was recorded. I was out on tour with my band Union Underground when The Sickness came out and I remember exactly how powerful this song hit when I first heard it.
I watched Disturbed perform this song live as a fan and as a fellow touring musician. I had no idea, none, that years down the road I would be standing on a stage playing this exact bass line as a member of the band.
Sometimes life takes you exactly where you’re supposed to go. You just don’t always see the path while you’re walking it.
Stay Metal🤘

Friday’s Disturbed playthrough is one that blows my mind when I think about it 🤯
I wasn’t in the band when this was recorded. I was actually on tour with Union Underground at the time — and I watched Disturbed play this song live before I ever knew I’d one day be standing on a stage playing it myself.
Years later I joined the band.
Tomorrow I play the song.

Black Sabbath “Jack The Stripper/Fairies Wear Boots” BIYF Wednesday. I have always loved the psychedelic-meets-heaviness of this song 🔉 This might not be the first song you think of when you think of Black Sabbath but there is no denying that it embodies everything they were about from the groovy rhythm sections to the chunky guitars to Ozzy’s soaring dark vocals. This one is a beast but I’m glad I did it Stay Metal 🤘

Talking with old friends about new things. A lot of talk on how Operation Mindcrime 3 was made. Maybe too much lol!!

I played this tour but not with Disturbed… 🤘🏻

The 2001 edition of Ozzfest wasn’t just a festival; it was a high‑water mark for nu‑metal, featuring a main stage that looked like a “Best of the Era” playlist:

MAIN STAGE 🔥

· 🤘 Black Sabbath (the original gods, headlining)
· 🎩 Marilyn Manson
· 😤 Slipknot
· 🧢 Papa Roach
· 🎤 Linkin Park
· 🎸 Disturbed
· 🍕 Crazy Town
· 🎸 Black Label Society

SECOND STAGE (The Real Ones Know) 🎧

· Disturbed (again, pulling double duty!)
· Mudvayne
· Cold
· Taproot
· Hatebreed
· Drowning Pool
· Nonpoint
· American Head Charge
· Otep
· and many more… 💀

DID YOU KNOW? 🤯

· The tour was famously booked with help from Ozzy’s son, Jack Osbourne, who was a teenager at the time and “knew what the f**k was going on.” 🗣️
· This was a 12‑hour marathon of heavy music, drawing over 50,000 fans at some stops. ⏳
· A rare documentary from this tour, We Sold Our Souls for Rock 'n Roll (directed by Wayne’s World's Penelope Spheeris), captured all the backstage chaos. 🎬

If you could build your dream Ozzfest lineup today, which ONE band from the 2001 bill would you absolutely have to include?
