Jewelry box project update 2: Well, this is the state of things today. Hardware clean up is a bit tedious and it's killing my manicure. 😉

I will often paint over the hardware on a project so it blends in better, but the white latex paint on these peices has to go.

I'm very close to putting everything back together. Final project pics coming soon!

Project update: My jewelry box upcycle now has two coats of paint and is ready for a top coat. This moody blue color is called Bohemian Blue, and it is one of my favorite DIY Paint by Debi's Design Diary colors. It looks even better after the top coat.

Here's the next project on my desk! This vintage jewelry box is stamped "July 1987" on the bottom. It's in pretty good shape for being 39 years old. It has good bones, and will look great with a new paint job. Stay tuned to see how it turns out!

Happy Sunday! If you know me personally you know that I have been adding hiking to my weekends which has been a much needed reminder that anything is possible with some hard work.
