The annual Colgan Music Tech Staycation was a huge success! Students learned new music, participated in a fun scavenger hunt and then ended the day with a big performance for family & friends!
Music Tech Students, learn more about the 2022-2023 Colgan Jazz Ensemble on Monday, October 17, 2:20-2:35 pm in the Band Room. Audition music and information will be released at that time -- join in the fun with this amazing group of students!

Thank you for following Colgan Music Technology - we’re glad you are here!
The nature of music technology is that it is a multi-skill field. In addition to learning about gear, software, and running events, students in CFPA Music Technology are taught to be versatile musicians.
Based on a student’s interest, they may be asked to set up and run sound for other concerts, write a new song for an event, arrange a pop medley for an a ca****la group, produce a track for the dance program, learn a rock band instrument, etc.
Music Technology students collaborate with artists in all genres. Here are some examples from previous years:

pop song arrangements for wind, brass, string, and percussion students
original music performance and production with PWCS Energy
produced cover songs of other students' music
new music production in collaboration with CFPA Dance
