I reflect under the sun
In my garden
I sat
And before l ate a BUILT Puff coconut
I chilled
For sometimes
Reflecting
And seeing the reality of here
Today it’s Wednesday
I live in Malibu
January 29, 2025
My neighborhood burned
But from where I write that
Actually I am
Inside in my bedroom
Color turquoise
Just packed some paintings
And other books
I packed some of my clothes
But a need to process and seeing
The chaos that it is
And
Me as a Miracle
My home survived
On my left side and right side
And behind me
The houses
Of my neighbors
Survived too
It’s a Miracle
My car parked on the other side
Two houses down survived
And the house in front of her
Survived
Blessed I am
