Boston Lesbigay Urban Foundation presents Back to School Beach Wellness Day at Carson’s Beach 👏🏾 🌈

I am excited to be joining LesBiGay Foundation this weekend for their Family Back to School Beach Wellness Day take over. I will be providing water resistant facepaint services from 1p-3p only. However the family fun is from 12p - 4p join us for some fun in the sun!

Happy Sunday

Big Love 🫶🏾 to Sol Inspired🌬 Pull Up Poetry “More Than Just An Open Mic” for having by zntarts at yesterday’s 2nd Annual Oshun Festival 🐝🌻 I am so happy I got to be a part of this beautiful celebration yesterday. A perfect weather day and nothing but amazing energy.

It’s always a blessing to see the beauty Saafyr and of course Q of Emerald City brought in the good vibrations literally with an amazing sound bath. It totally brought in a moment of quiet and calm across the whole space. 

I was truly happy to see the one and only Eroc Soul Bear on stage with his son Javi such an amazing legacy he is building. And it was darn cute that he introduced himself as “papi’s son”.

Here are a few moments from me. I love using GTX Facepaint especially their water resistant ones for summer festivals and active events. Look at the vibrancy and texture. Smooth!

Today is going to be a much needed for me. So if you need me you know where to find me. One of my favorite places is my bed lol!

Peace & loves ZNT Arts family! Happy Hump Day!

Hella late with this post because August has been AUGUSTING! 😂 Between teaching, creating, face painting, community events, soaking up some sunshine, being a dog mom for a week, and actually trying to enjoy summer, this mama has been outside and BUSY. But can we get into this beautiful crocheted ensemble by 2Nine | Clothing and Design?! My man in my Denzel voice, but really my GURL! Cause she always does her big one!

And can we talk about my little artists?! We wrapped up summer learning with a Michael Jackson inspired collage project and they showed OUT. I was so proud of what they created. 🥹
There’s still plenty more Art from the Heart happening before summer winds down. You can catch Face Painting by ZNT Arts at several community events this month, and I’m especially excited to bring The Joy of Monoprinting to Mother Brook Arts & Community Center in September.

𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 & 𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲. 🤍✨

Last night’s ICA/Boston First Fridays: White Hot Vol. 11 was absolutely AMAZING! Baby, the ZNT Arts team brought all the glitz and glam. ✨

Many thanks to the ICA for the collaboration and for inviting Face Painting by ZNT Arts to be part of such an incredible night. Our Glitter Bar was a major success, and when I tell you the team and I were going NONSTOP! Back to back, okay! 😂 We are tired, but we had so much fun.

To every person who stopped by, sat in our chairs, trusted our creativity and let us add a little extra sparkle to your night, 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨! 🫶🏾✨

And a very special thank you to my team. ZNT Arts doesn’t happen without community, collaboration and the people who show up and help me bring these ideas to life. 𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝘀𝗼 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹. 💜

One thing about being a body artist, and really just being an artist working in public spaces, is that as much as I want to document everything, 𝗜 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁. I want to create, connect, observe and actually experience the moment. Soooo, we didn’t get nearly as many pictures as I would’ve liked. 😂

Sindy ♍️ thank you for capturing this moment!

In my Beyoncé voice, “It feels so good to be alive.”

July was rough, y’all. I’ve been through some things, and I’m still moving through some things. But if there is one thing about me, I’m going to lead with love and abundance as much as I can, even when life feels challenging and hard.

And I’m incredibly grateful for the people in my life who continue to show up for me in a multitude of beautiful ways. The calls, the check-ins, the laughter, the generosity, the kindness, the love. You know who you are. I love you, and I don’t take any of it for granted.

Life keeps reminding me that joy and difficulty can exist at the same time. So I’m choosing the moments that make me smile. I’m choosing the water, the sunshine, good people, good food, creating art and being here to experience another day.

And baby, August?! I’m so excited. There are so many beautiful things happening with ZNT Arts this month and heading into the fall, and I’m genuinely proud of the direction this dream of mine continues to grow.

I’ve been through some s**t. I’m still here. I’m loved. I’m grateful. I’m excited about what’s next. And baby, I’m STILL here smiling.

Peace and love ZNT Arts family, cheers to the weekend. ✨

We all have to start somewhere, and sometimes your camera roll reminds you just how far you’ve come.

Thirteen years of paint, glitter, smiles, and community.
The first photo was taken while face painting at the Annual Everything Is Real Customer Appreciation Cookout. Rest in peace to the one and only Mathematics Allah, who poured so much love, energy, and dedication into serving the community.

Fast forward to today and I’m still doing what I love recently painting at Daddy & Me Family Day Daddy and Me Literacy Program and witnessing that same spirit of joy, care, and community being poured into families.

Somewhere between these two photos I learned that face painting isn’t just paint on skin. It’s confidence. It’s play. It’s self-expression. It’s joy.

And one thing remains true:
Face Painting by ZNT Arts is for everyone.

From community festivals in Boston to celebrations in DC and New Orleans, I’m grateful that art continues to carry me into beautiful spaces and connect me with beautiful people.

The lines got cleaner. The designs got stronger. The mission stayed the same.

Creating joy through art, one face at a time.
ZNT Arts is outside all summer. ☀️✨
