A great time on Saturday August 1 for PHLASH PHELPS Day in Bradford, PA! Thanks to everyone who bought souvenirs from the B.R.A.G. Booth. We reached our goal and will be putting together an art scholarship for a University of Pittsburgh at Bradford student.
We still have some limited edition numbered art prints of the PHLASH mural, hand signed by the artists Greg Souchik and Rick Minard and PHLASH! Saturday August 1 PHLASH PHELPS will be in Bradford at the Allegheny Mountain Arts Gallery at 181 Main Street. He will be taking pictures with his mural and signing autographs from 10am to 4pm. There will be food trucks, PHLASH souvenirs, other artists, music and fun. There will be an opportunity to meet PHLASH and the artists that painted his mural, Greg Souchik and Rick Minard. The event is sponsored by B.R.A.G. Bradford Region Arts Group. BRAG is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the support of art and artists. We are currently raising funds to put together a scholarship for the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford and to support art projects in the Bradford Region.

POP-UP ART SHOW Saturday August 9, 11 to 6 at the ALLEGHENY MOUNTAIN ARTS GALLERY parking lot 181 Main St. This is an event of the Bradford Region Arts Group or BRAG. If you are coming to the Italian Festival we are caddy-corner across the street. Stop by and see some great pottery, art and jewelry!

Supporting & Promoting Art and Atists in the Bradford Region

BRADFORD REGION ARTS GROUP ( BRAG ) was a recently formed non-profit corporation in Bradford PA. We have applied for our 501(c)3 Federal Non-profit status and hope to have that in place soon.

The purpose of the group is promote art and artists in the Bradford Region, not just McKean County but the surrounding area as well. We will act as a type of art council but with the goal of assisting mainly 2D artists and art.

Our other goals are helping to build the community by bringing in tourists and others that are interested in art and the great things our community offers.

We have been given the use of the gallery special display area and work space at Allegheny Mountain Arts. We will use this to feature local regional artists and to conduct educational workshops and classes.
