The Summer Playbook 😎

Our developmental league is kicking off next Monday, June 8th. Every week night from now until July 31st, we will be offering free sports skill development. (Dead week June 29th-July 3rd)

This will be a great opportunity for our Liberty Rec families to stay active in the summer and grow in the off season. No sign ups required - just show up and be ready to work! ⚽️🏀🏈⚾️🏐🥎

The Hometown Heroes Challenge is underway, and five City of Liberty teams are competing to collect the most donations for the Liberty Community Exchange Back to School Shop Days!

From June 1-26, support your favorite "team" by making a donation. Every $1 donated counts as 1 vote, and each donated item counts as 1 vote too! Donations will help provide students in grades 6-12 with clothing and essential hygiene items for the upcoming school year.

Drop off donations at:

206 W. Front St.
318 W. Main St.
147 Kay Holcombe Rd.

Which team will take home the custom trophy and earn bragging rights for the year?

Fall Sports Registration has been extended through Sunday, June 7th at 11:59 pm. A $10.00 late fee will applied to those who register today through June 7th. No registrants will be accepted after June 7th.

Starting June 2, the Lakewood Heights courts will be under construction for asphalt removal and resurfacing. New tennis nets and basketball goals will also be installed at the courts. Please use caution within this area during construction.

The battle is about to begin!

Our City of Liberty teams are getting ready to compete in the Hometown Heroes Challenge to help support our Liberty Community Exchange Back to School Shop Days for Pickens County.

City of Liberty - South Carolina, City of Liberty Parks and Recreation Department , Liberty Fire Department, Liberty Police Department- SC, and Liberty Public Works are all stepping up to collect donations and support our community. We love seeing our city come together for something bigger than ourselves.

This is all about fun, teamwork, community pride, and helping local kids head back to school with confidence.

May the best team win… and may our community win the biggest.
