Well live music fans, that's a wrap! The 2026 summer season for Norway Music In The Park is officially in the books. We hope everyone enjoyed the entire season of Music this summer!
A SPECIAL WORD OF THANKS to everyone who contributed in the park, or sent in forms and donations through City Hall over the past year. WE CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH!! Thank you to Sound Technician Jesse Powell and assistants for making our groups sound their best! Thank you to Downtown Norway's Seth Anderson & Kenzie Williamsen as well as Mary Spera for assistance with the photography when Greg was otherwise occupied.

We want to take a moment to remind everyone that our small planning team, (Greg, Carol and Martin) administer Norway Music in the Park on a COMPLETELY volunteer basis. No one receives a salary, and any reimbursements are for items directly put back into Music in the Park.

After a few weeks off to reflect, we'll get back to planning for 2027. We wish everyone a great fall season, and look forward to seeing all your smiling faces in 2027 for the next Summer of LIVE MUSIC!

Talk about ending the season BIG! it was great to see 400+ LIVE MUSIC FANS fill the park, street and sidewalks as the DAYDREAMERS closed out season 14, our awesome 2026 summer of music. Thanks to all who attended, danced, donated, shared posts, talked our town up, and made Thursday night in Downtown Norway the place to be! We look forward to working on another great season for 2028. Also, plan on being in Norway on Saturday, October 10th, for the Leif Erickson Fall Festival, the Band "VICTORIOUS" will be performing during the event! Happy Fall, Y'all!!

What a FANTASTIC night in Downtown Norway as the River Cities Big Band came to town and played their socks off! We heard swing, pop, latín, ballads, oldies, novelties all in the key of big band jazz! Hats off to this fine band! Great audience, great weather, great music! Next week, we wrap up the summer season DAYDREAMERS style. Time for Music in the Park Concert #9! This Thursday, August 6th, we welcome the "River Cities Big Band" — a FULL 19 member big band from the Menominee/Marinette area. Complete with 2 great vocalists, you'll hear everything from Duke Ellington, Bobby Troup and Henri Mancini to Queen, Earth, Wind and Fire and Donna Summers. This band has been rehearsing all summer to play for you, and they are HOT! 🎶🎵🎺🔥 We look forward to seeing lots of LIVE MUSIC FANS in Downtown Norway on Thursday night!

While we're waiting for our biggest performing group (The River Cities Big Band) of the year this coming Thursday, August 6th, we'd like to take the chance to say about few words about the sound technician we've been fortunate to bring into the Norway Music In The Park family this Summer. With the exception of one conflicted date, Jesse Powell has been handling sound for every performing group, large and small all summer. Along with a small crew of "extra muscle," he's done extraordinary work making every artist sound fantastic! We thank you Jesse, as well as assistants Abbi, Mack and "Panda" for all your hard work and for the great sound every week!

For those that "threw caution to the wind" and took a chance on the weather improving, (it sure did), you were treated to another great Norway Music In The Park concert, this time by the Green Bay area band "Music Jar." Thanks for coming to the Yoop, Ryan and friends, we enjoyed your show! We hope to see the park bursting at the seams next Thursday for the River Cities Big Band!

Regarding tonight's concert with "Music Jar," we are going to hope for the best weather-wise, and are busy setting up at the Bandshell. Alright LIVE MUSIC fans, it is time for Concert #8! This Thursday, July 30th, we welcome the band "MUSIC JAR" — from the Green Bay, WI area. Ryan and his crew will rock you through the decades, playing everything from the 60's & 70's forward. This four piece band knows how to entertain, so we look forward to seeing lots of MUSIC IN THE PARK FANS in Downtown Norway on Thursday night! Concerts, as always, run from 7:00-8:30 p.m. CDT.
