In 1982, MEGAFORCE was hyped as the next Star Wars — but instead became one of Hollywood's most spectacular flops. Forty-three years later, director and MEGAFORCE superfan Bob Lindenmayer sets out to tell the film's definitive story, tracking down its cast, crew, and devoted fan community. His film, MAKING MEGAFORCE, starts as a behind-the-scenes documentary, but soon becomes something bigger when Bob finally comes face-to-face with his childhood hero, Ace Hunter — played by cult icon Barry Bostwick (ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW) — in this laugh-out-loud, heartfelt film about fandom, family, and what can happen when you meet your heroes.

In the aftermath of the Civil War, over 60 monuments honoring Confederate soldiers were erected across Kentucky. Only ten monuments honor Kentuckians who fought for the Union Army. The Colored Soldiers Monument in Frankfort is the sole monument honoring Black soldiers.

The murder of Breonna Taylor thrust Kentucky and its numerous Confederate monuments into the 2020 Movement for Black Lives. Resistance in Louisville triggered resistance in small communities for the first time in a generation. This documentary tells the story of ordinary citizens who chose to fight to right this wrong.
