THE WAIT IS ALMOST OVER….A NEW HHA QUEEN IS ABOUT TO BE CROWNED!

This week, the Hispanic Heritage Association will proudly announce our newly selected HHA QUEEN for the 2026–2027 reign!

But before we introduce her to our community, we want everyone to know what it truly means to wear the HHA crown.

The HHA Queen serves as a youth ambassador for the Hispanic Heritage Association, representing Hispanic culture, community service, leadership and unity throughout Madisonville and the surrounding community.

Throughout her 2026–2027 reign, our Queen will have the opportunity to:

• Represent HHA at community events
• Participate in HHA service projects
• Support the Hispanic Heritage Festival
• Encourage and inspire younger generations
• Help promote HHA and its mission
• Represent our organization and community positively
•Complete a full-year reign as HHA Queen

And there’s something we want to make very clear:

Being HHA Queen is about MUCH MORE than a crown and sash.

The crown and sash are symbols of the honor she has been given, but what truly makes an HHA Queen is her CHARACTER, SERVICE, LEADERSHIP, CULTURAL PRIDE and COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT.

We want our Queen to be someone younger generations can look up to….someone who proudly celebrates her Hispanic heritage while helping bring people from all backgrounds together.

A new chapter is about to begin.

LA ESPERA CASI TERMINA.…UNA NUEVA REINA DE LA HHA ESTÁ A PUNTO DE SER CORONADA!

Esta semana, la Asociación de Herencia Hispana anunciará con orgullo a nuestra recién seleccionada REINA DE LA HHA para el reinado 2026–2027!

Pero antes de presentarla a nuestra comunidad, queremos que todos sepan lo que realmente significa llevar la corona de la HHA.

La Reina de la HHA actúa como embajadora juvenil de la Hispanic Heritage Association, representando la cultura hispana, el servicio comunitario, el liderazgo y la unidad en Madisonville y sus alrededores.

A lo largo de su reinado 2026–2027, nuestra Reina tendrá la oportunidad de:

• Representar a la HHA en eventos comunitarios
• Participar en proyectos de servicio de la HHA
• Apoyar el Festival de la Herencia Hispana
• Motivar e inspirar a las generaciones más jóvenes
• Ayudar a promover la HHA y su misión
• Representar positivamente a nuestra organización y comunidad
• Completar un año entero de reinado como Reina de la HHA

Y hay algo que queremos dejar muy claro:

Ser Reina de la HHA implica MUCHO MÁS que una corona y una banda.

La corona y la banda son símbolos del honor que se le ha otorgado, pero lo que realmente define a una Reina de la HHA es su CARÁCTER, SERVICIO, LIDERAZGO, ORGULLO CULTURAL y PARTICIPACIÓN COMUNITARIA.

Queremos que nuestra Reina sea un ejemplo a seguir para las generaciones más jóvenes.…alguien que celebre con orgullo su herencia hispana mientras ayuda a unir a personas de todos los orígenes.

This is a great opportunity for parents to meet ESL teachers and administrators, learn about helpful school resources, and get information to stay connected and involved in their child’s education.

The Hispanic Heritage Association would like to give a BIG THANK YOU to MADISON COUNTY LIBRARY for stepping up and helping us promote the 3rd Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival!

When it came time to get the word out beyond Madisonville, Madison County Library generously helped by PRINTING OUR FESTIVAL FLYERS….giving us the opportunity to distribute them throughout our surrounding communities and invite even MORE families to come celebrate with us!

Those flyers have made their way into businesses, organizations and community spaces across the area, helping us reach people who may not have seen the festival on social media.

Something as simple as printing flyers can make a BIG difference for a community organization like ours.

Every flyer posted means another person sees it.

GRACIAS A LA BIBLIOTECA DEL CONDADO DE MADISON POR AYUDARNOS A DIFUNDIR LA NOTICIA!

La Asociación de Herencia Hispana quiere expresar un enorme agradecimiento a la Biblioteca del Condado de Madison por dar un paso al frente y ayudarnos a promocionar el 3.er Festival Anual de la Herencia Hispana.

Cuando llegó el momento de difundir el evento más allá de Madisonville, la Biblioteca del Condado de Madison colaboró generosamente imprimiendo los folletos del festival, lo que nos permitió distribuirlos en las comunidades vecinas e invitar a aún más familias a celebrar con nosotros.

Estos folletos han llegado a negocios, organizaciones y espacios comunitarios de toda la zona, ayudándonos a conectar con personas que tal vez no se habían enterado del festival a través de las redes sociales.

Algo tan sencillo como imprimir folletos puede marcar una gran diferencia para una organización comunitaria como la nuestra.

Cada folleto colocado significa que una persona más lo ve.
Que una familia más se entera del festival.
Que una comunidad más recibe la invitación para acompañarnos.

Se necesita una comunidad entera trabajando unida para hacer posible un evento de esta magnitud, y la Biblioteca del Condado de Madison estuvo ahí para apoyarnos cuando más lo necesitábamos.
