I had the pleasure of creating this portrait for .s.matheny after meeting her at Art's on the Avenue this year. I have really liked beginning to incorporate splashes of color into my work this year. I think it adds a new layer to these portraits.

This Siamese cat is Paul. He belongs to Jean Russell. Funny enough, Jean actually introduced me to my cat Ranger when we were lucky enough to have her at Richland High School. Ranger was yowling under the hood of her car one cold morning in October when I passed by on the way into work.
