I’m here at Walt Disney World for the Disney Believe announcement event, and we have LOTS to talk about!

“They won’t remember it.”

Okay, but I will. And I’m also going on this vacation. 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ll remember the little wave to Pooh. The way they run toward their favorite princess. The tiny hand pulling mine because they spotted the castle.

They don’t have to remember every detail years from now for their happiness TODAY to matter. And you’re allowed to want those memories for yourself, too. 🤍

Does Disney with littles look different? Absolutely. There are strollers, naps, snack negotiations, and sometimes leaving a park earlier than you planned. You can still have an amazing trip without riding everything or making it to fireworks every night.

The Disney bubble has me in a chokehold, and honestly, I’m fine with it. 😂

And before anyone comes for me- yes, I’ve stayed off property (for science) enough times to have an opinion

Morning coffee on the balcony, music around the resort, a drink by the pool, and that feeling that real life is somewhere outside the bubble and can wait until Monday.

The resort is a whole part of the vacation for me. The pools, the dining, the little places to sit and do absolutely nothing. Yes, even at Disney, we can do absolutely nothing.

And as a mom of two, staying on site is about more than the vibe. Choosing the right resort can make getting around, going back for naps, splitting up when someone needs a break, and heading out again for dinner so much easier. When you’re traveling with little ones, those details matter.

I want a midday break to actually feel like a break. And I want leaving the park to still feel like I’m on vacation.

But WHICH Disney resort you choose matters, too. Your family’s favorite parks, how you like to spend your days, transportation, budget—it all goes into finding the right fit. And that’s where I come in. 🫶🏻

I would like to ride Big Thunder AND sit here long enough for my coffee to get cold. I don’t think that’s asking too much. 😂

Wilderness Lodge is one of my favorites because I love having this to come back to after a park day. The trees, the water, that massive lobby… suddenly I’m very interested in what we have planned at the resort. Which ideally is very little.

Walk by the water, grab something at Geyser Point, hang out on the balcony. You’re allowed to enjoy the hotel you paid for without calculating how many rides you could’ve done in that time.

Especially with little ones, a slower morning or an afternoon back at the resort can be exactly what everyone needs. And yes, you can love Disney just as much as the person who stayed in the park for 14 hours.

This is why choosing a resort is about more than picking a pretty room. I want to know how your family actually vacations—and whether you want somewhere like this to slow down between park days.
