THIS FRIDAY! What is Adult Swim? Madison Children’s Museum borrows the public pool tradition of kicking out the kids so adults can have the place to themselves (just without actual swimming). Adult Swim makes space to play like a grown-up—crafting, drinking, and moonwalking your way through the museum.

--Planetary Pursuit: One museum, eight planets. (RIP Pluto.) Complete our planetary scavenger hunt & claim your cosmic prize
First Contact, LEGO Edition: Build your own extraterrestrial lifeform & vote on the best alien
--Central Corsage Command: Craft a keepsake corsage or boutonniere from paper and silk flowers for yourself, your date, or the little ET who lives in your closet
--Extraterrestrial Transmogrification: Get weird(er)! Adorn your earthly vessel with gems, body paint, and more
--Stardust Station: How is glitter like a cowbell? You always need more! Sparkle it up with a generous helping of stardust
--Close Encounters of the Rooftop Kind: Beam yourself up to the rooftop for some actual stargazing, great views of the Capitol, and chicken pals
--Cosmic Coronation (8:45 pm): Madison Shakespeare Company royalty (King Edward, Queen Elizabeth, and the scheming Lord Falconbridge) will select the Prom Court and crown the Cosmic Prom Monarch. Long may they reign!
