So proud and amazed, but not surprised at the incredible progress Eric Thompson and his team have made in such a short time. Of course I would expect nothing less of Dawg, Then and Now!

Please join me in congratulating the Mary Persons Band program on their truly inspiring performances yesterday at their 2018 Large Group Performance Evaluation. Both of our bands recieved straight superior ratings in both their performance and sight reading. This concludes a year of adjudication where all Monroe County Bands: Middle School, Bulldog Brigade, Concert Band, and Symphonic Band received superior ratings at all evaluations.

August is a time for school supply shopping and looking forward to the beginning of high school football, but is also full of long days in the heat and humidity for those in marching band.
