"It is with sadness that the passing of Kathleen Delores Lukas of Sterling Heights, Michigan is shared. Kathleen, born on September 9, 1939, passed away on August 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Horst; and her sisters, Margie, Barbara and Beatrice. She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Drwencke (Joe), Kathy Gignac (Greg) and Karen Hoettel (Tony); and her grandchildren, Krystal (Robbie), Joseph, Lauren (Bradley), Kyle (Sarah), Rachel (Brandon), Brandon, Jennifer (Wayne), Kevin (Sara), Bradley (Taylor), Valerie, Lukas, Logan, Mason, Maverick, Miles, Ryan and Jax.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved member, Anna Stockinger, who passed away on August 9, 2026.

Anna was also one of the founders of the Austrian Ski Club, and her friendship, dedication, and contributions will always be remembered and cherished by our club community.

A Memorial Gathering will take place from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 44633 Utica Rd., Utica, MI 48317.

Our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences go out to Anna’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.

May she rest in eternal peace.

We may be Austrian, but Oktoberfest brings out the Bavarian in all of us!

Please find the attached invitation to the Celebration of Life for our dear friend and fellow member, Sigfried "Siggy" Charow.

At the request of Siggy's family, I am forwarding this invitation to the affiliated clubs where Siggy was a member and/or volunteered his time. The family has asked that this be shared with all club members who knew Siggy and would like to join in celebrating his life.

As this is an invitation-only gathering, the family will be arranging food based on the number of guests who plan to attend. To help provide the most accurate count, I would greatly appreciate it if you would send me the names of those from your club who will be attending. Since many of our members belong to multiple clubs, having names will allow me to cross-reference the lists and avoid duplicate counts.

Hello Golfers and Friends,

The Austrian Ski Club invites you to our annual Golf Outing.
Please see the flyer for the details.

Again, we play at the Stony Creek Metro Park in Shelby Township on Sept. 13, 2026.

Start of the game is at 8:00 am, with registration starting at 7:15 am by the Club House, Stony Creek Golf Course.

After the game, we will have a party, including food and drink, at the Austrian Park.

In addition to a raffle, we will also hand-out the awards based on game results.

Hope to see you all at the Austrian Park to enjoy food, drink and have a good time together.
