Teaching color guard can feel isolating—especially when you’re building a program with limited support, limited staff, or limited resources.

Maybe you’re:

* a new instructor trying to figure it all out
* teaching a small team on your own
* constantly creating without mentorship
* burnt out from carrying everything yourself
* passionate about teaching, but unsure where to grow next

That’s exactly why we built the EPC Skool.

A space for instructors who want:
✔ practical teaching tools
✔ rehearsal structure help
✔ movement & equipment education
✔ class ideas and progressions
✔ support from people who understand the activity

You do not have to build your program alone.

Join the EPC Skool and grow with a community built for educators like you.

Want a cleaner color guard without constantly over-cleaning?

Our Initiation Class inside the EPC Skool teaches the foundational coordination skills that create naturally cleaner performers from the beginning.

We focus on:
✔ movement initiation
✔ timing connection
✔ body-to-equipment coordination
✔ creating consistency before choreography gets layered

Because cleaner guards are built through strong foundations—not just more reps.

Perfect for instructors building programs with limited staff, time, or outside support.

Join the EPC Skool and start training smarter from day one.

The fastest way to clean up form-to-form travel in your color guard?
Foot articulation.

Inside the EPC Skool, we break down how the feet create:
✔ cleaner movement quality
✔ better timing control
✔ smoother transitions
✔ stronger performance presence on the field

Perfect for instructors and performers who need practical training tools—especially programs building without a huge support system.

Join the EPC Skool and start building stronger movers from the ground up.

🔥All Things Recruiting🔥

Recruiting is where your program’s future begins—and for many instructors, it can feel unclear, inconsistent, or like an afterthought in the middle of a busy season. In this revisited episode of Sundays with Scott, Scott and Monica break down what effective recruiting actually looks like and how to approach it with intention.

This conversation goes beyond simply “getting numbers.” It focuses on when recruiting truly begins (hint: much earlier than most think), how to build visibility for your program, and how to create an environment that naturally attracts new performers.

Scott and Monica share practical strategies, timelines, and mindset shifts that help instructors move from reactive recruiting to proactive program growth. They also discuss how culture, communication, and consistency play a major role in retention—not just initial sign-ups.

Whether you’re building a program from the ground up or looking to strengthen your numbers year to year, this lesson will help you approach recruiting as an ongoing, strategic part of your season—not just a one-time event.

Join our Skool to see the rest of the episode! Join us in May where we talk all things rules, policies, and culture in your program! Links in bio!

Most instructors don’t struggle because they don’t care—they struggle because they’re building everything through trial and error.

I had to learn a lot of this the hard way… and it cost entire seasons of unnecessary stress.

That’s why I put together a free 16-week Teacher Tip email series through Evoke Performance Collective.

Each week breaks down real systems, training ideas, rehearsal structure, show design thinking, and culture building tools I wish I had earlier in my career.

If you want in, just fill out the form in the description and it’ll be sent straight to your inbox every week.

No cost—just real tools from real programs.

👉 Form in bio to join the series.

Closing the year…

As this year comes to a close, I keep thinking about the connections that formed around Evoke—some brief, some lasting, all meaningful.

This year reminded us that movement is a language. That bodies communicate what words can’t. That when people share space, attention, and effort, something real happens—even if it’s imperfect or fleeting.

Evoke became a place to practice listening: to ourselves, to each other, and to what emerges when we slow down enough to notice. A place where CARE mattered as much as creation, and where community wasn’t about sameness, but about showing up.

In a world that feels increasingly knotted, these moments of connection felt grounding. Necessary. Human. Thank you ALL. 💖

Thank you for being part of this year—by moving with us, supporting us, witnessing us, or simply holding space for the work.

We’re carrying this sense of connection forward into what’s next. Cheers to you all! Stay safe tonight and I can’t wait to see you all on the floor in 2026!🔥
