Lynnfield Middle School had a big night at the METG Musical Theater Awards! Kylie Geary was nominated for Best Actor in a Lead Role; Aidan Rystrom won for Best Actor in a Supporting Role; and our beloved Mr. Bloom won for Best Music Direction! We are so incredibly proud of all of them ... and of everyone who made that show what it was. The hard work all the students put in made the whole show shine.

Congratulations to Stephen Bloom and the entirety of the LMS music department for an ambitious, meaningful, beautiful concert last night. It was a joy to be present and hear what these amazing kids can do!

TONIGHT ONLY - There’s a free public performance of Peter Pan at the LMS auditorium tonight only (Tuesday, May 12) at 7pm!

This is the final show of the year for the LMS Drama department and the talented LMS performers - this performance is free to attend.

We hope to see you tonight at 7pm at LMS!

This week, Lynnfield Middle School brings new life to the classic tale of Peter Pan!

There are two ways to see the show: This coming Saturday, May 9, LMS will be a host for Drama Fest, a statewide celebration of theater. 7 different schools, including our neighbors St. John's Prep and Galvin Middle School from Wakefield, will be performing. Peter Pan is at 9 am Saturday morning. Tickets are available here: https://metg.app.neoncrm.com/nx/portal/neonevents/events?path=%2Fportal%2Fevents%2F42272 Tickets are $15 if purchased in advance online; they will be $20 at the door - cash or check only! Your ticket allows you to see as many of the shows being performed on Saturday as you wish to.

You can also come see Peter Pan at our public performance on Tuesday May 12, 7 pm in the LMS auditorium. That performance is free to attend.

Our cast and crew have worked very hard and the show is so dynamic and fun to watch - please come show them your support!

Lynnfield Middle School Drama is looking for a nurse to be on site during our upcoming Drama Fest day, Saturday May 9.

It's a long day - 7 am to 9 pm, most likely - but you'd get to see 7 different middle school productions, ours as well as those of 6 visiting schools, and there is a small stipend available for your time.

Hi! The Friends of Lynnfield Theater (FOLT), a 501(c)3 organization, was created to support LPS theater programs through financial, technical and volunteer contributions. School theater arts programs touch the lives of so many students in our district, yet they are often underfunded and unsupported.

If you are interested in supporting our theater students, please consider purchasing raffle tickets or making a donation! Venmo now or purchase tickets at tonight's LMS Rock of Ages show (2/7) at 7PM, or tomorrow's show (2/8) at 1:00 PM. A winner will be drawn at tomorrow's show during intermission.
