I’ll be at the Oyster Festival this weekend at the St Mary’s County Fairgrounds, as you can clearly tell by all the oysters I didn’t paint this afternoon (they’re coming, I promise!). But one of these rainy day paintings will be the featured print in this month’s Mini Mail Club mailing… 👀

You all painted some shucking amazing oysters last night at the Pearl & Palette event at Maertens Jewelry! Moving forward I will only be hosting workshops during which I am surrounded by diamonds, bubbles, and other sparkly bits because how beautiful is this space ✨ A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, and to Maerten’s Jewelry for allowing me to be part of this event. It turned out to be the perfect way to kick off Shuck It weekend in Solomons! 🦪🎨

We’re painting shucking oysters in 2 days at Maertens Jewelry for our Pearls & Palettes: An Evening of Jewelry & Watercolor workshop! Have you registered?!? Not only are you painting watercolor oysters but you’re also designing your very own pearl necklace that will be made during the event! The girls at Maertens helped me design my necklace the other day and I seriously love it so much. Can’t wait to paint with you on Friday! 🦪🎨

Thank you to everyone who painted with me last night for First Friday in Leonardtown! You guys created the cutest paintings and bookmarks 😍 And a huge thank you to St. Mary's County Arts Council for having me! My next watercolor workshop is Pearls & Palettes: An Evening of Jewelry & Watercolor, happening Friday, October 9 with Maertens Jewelry in Solomons - we’re painting oysters and making pearl necklaces! 🦪🎨🥂
