Our recent donation of $2,500 is supporting 7 schools in India until 2013.

Established in 1954, the Indian Students Association (ISA) at The University of Texas at Austin is currently one of the largest student organizations on campus. We are an umbrella organization that aims to connect all South Asian organizations on campus and continue to spread awareness of our various philanthropic ventures. Over the past year we have donated more than $10,000 to charities all arou

nd the globe such as the American Red Cross: Haitian Relief Fund, Nourish International, and Ekal Vidyalaya.

We want to express our immense love and gratitude to this past year’s executive board. We’ve had our fair share of ups and downs coming out of a virtual year, but your guidance and patience allowed us to have such a memorable year. Your dedication and effort inspires us to do better everyday. We have big shoes to fill, but we know you will always be a text away (heads up we will be bugging you 24/7).

A special shout-out to our graduating seniors, Vivek, Pri, Apoorva, and Shreya, for their enormous efforts the past two years they’ve been on exec board. We cannot thank you guys enough for your commitment and cooperation throughout this unforgettable year.

Words cannot express how much we love and look up to you guys. Thank you for everything :)

happy 9th birthday to the man who will always choose kanye over pete . Shobhan is a rising sophomore studying finance and is the goofiest member of our finance committee. He’s ISA’s main source of entertainment, but we’re not sure if he contributes anything else besides that. Shobhan is also ‘s newest hooligan so catch him throwing it back next semester 🥵🥵. Even though he’s single, he undoubtedly has the sexiest rizz. Other than being attached to Drashti, Shobhan has a successful influencer career, amassing over 1.5K likes on Tiktok for his infamous food reviews. We love you goat shubby be all of our hubbies 😍😍😍😍 and have an amazing birthday :)))

happy nasty nineteen to the best dressed person in isa . Keya is our newest VP internal and is a rising sophomore studying marketing. You’ll always find her on campus snacking on some hot cheetos, hummus, and apple juice (still better than j2). Besides taking a 100 photos of herself in the same pose, Keya watches the same 4 bollywood movies that have the exact same plot. She has no game so pls hit her up (preferably ppl that look like shahid kapoor in jab we met). We hope you had an amazing day, Keya!!

happy birthday to the person who always makes our group chats green .bandaru !! Sriya is a rising sophomore studying BME, and is a part of our social committee. She’s also a Texas Mohini newbie!! Sriya possesses the magical ability to curl hair with a straightener (seriously how tf do u do it). Whenever she’s not sending blank snaps, she’s probably doing her mohini audition choreo with Nikhil. We love you Sriya :)) (but pls get an iphone)

happy nasty nineteen to our newest co-jeena director !! Esh*tha is a rising sophomore studying computer science and is also a part of Texas Convergent. Fun fact: her favorite programming language is Java (official uttami stamp of approval). Speaking of Uttami, she’ll always miss an opportunity to have fun to work on a lab (rip retreat). She won’t admit it but her favorite book series is fifty shades of (ban)gray haha, get it? (this was so stupid). Unfortunately she can’t reach the top shelf, but that doesn’t stop her from being a badass 😎. We love you Esh*tha, have an amazing day

Happy 20th birthday to our Tamil baddie !! Harini is our newest VP External and is a rising junior studying Math. Besides being the coolest, most gorgeous person in ISA, she loves wasting time watching trashy reality tv shows and annoying people :) She loves The Weeknd and coffee (which is why Uttami is her big) and is looking for a FAANG man or internship (serious inquiries only). BIRTHDAY SPOTLIGHT: happy 21st birthday to the shortest person in ISA and our newest senior advisor !! Uttami is a rising senior studying ECE, and her favorite programming language is Java (i approve very sexy 👍). Speaking of Java, one of her favorite pastimes is draining her parents’ hard-earned money on coffee! One of Uttami’s biggest role models is Harini Ram, stating that “[she] changed [her] life” (100% real quote). Jokes aside, we luv u uttami go jam to some weeknd n drake at the club (birthday shot on us just venmo request texasisa - drashti, probably)
