Fun Fish Facts!
North American river Otters are semi-aquatic mammals known for their playful behavior, expert swimming, and dense water-repellent fur. Grow 3 to 4 feet long (including the tail) and weigh between 11 and 30 pounds. Their fur is Extremely dense (up to 850,000 hairs per square inch) to trap air, keeping them warm and dry.

Hillary Marchington serves on the Lubbock Aquarium Board as Treasurer. She is a dedicated community leader, entrepreneur, and passionate advocate for youth development through martial arts. Alongside her husband, Bryce, she co-owns Fire & Ice Martial Arts in Lubbock, Texas, where they have the privilege of helping students of all ages build confidence, discipline, respect, and resilience.

Hillary enjoys organizing fundraising events, connecting with local businesses and sponsors, and finding creative ways to give back to the community. She believes that investing in young people and strengthening families creates a lasting impact that extends far beyond martial arts. Thanks for your service to youth in Lubbock Area.
