Chaos Castle Future Goals! 🏰🐾✨

​Just looking at the official headcount this morning and dreaming about the day we expand into a full-blown Chaos Empire! It is going to take a massive piece of land one day to house this legendary lineup, but a girl can dream big for her family.

​The official roster for the future kingdom:

​🐶 The Pup Protection Squad: Ernie, Waylon, Triton, Brownie, Red Rose, and Ma.
🐱 The Feline Force: Annabelle, Romeo, Sissy, Smoke, and my two adorable fosters, Pretty and Sweet Girl.

🐭 The Ruler of the Castle: Manny the chinchilla, keeping everyone in line.

​We definitely have a big, wonderful family. One of these days we are going to need a much bigger space for everyone to thrive with plenty of peace, freedom, and open running space. Once everyone wakes up lol.

​Until then, we’re just holding down the fort and keeping things lively! 🪵🌲👑

🏰 THE CHAOS CASTLE DAILY CHRONICLES: From Garden Overlords to Couch Potatoes 🏰

​Happy Monday, Castle Crew! After a weekend of hard work and high energy, the realm is officially at peace today.

​🐢 The Great Turtle Restructuring Project
Yesterday, the Castle Crew took over the neighbors' yard for a very important mission. Our neighbor has this awesome, massive decorative turtle planter, and it was time for a total makeover! We got to work restructuring the shell, packing it with gorgeous hens-and-chicks till it looks like a living, breathing garden masterpiece. To top it off, we finally debuted the secret weapon: a special batch of homemade Castle Fertilizer! The plants are officially living their best lives.

​🐾 The Neighborhood Ambassadors
Of course, the supervisors had to come along. Ernie and Waylon went up to spread some absolute joy. Our neighbors, Lynn and Jeff, love our boys to absolute pieces. Since a new puppy is a bit too much responsibility for them to take on right now, the boys take their jobs as "part-time therapy dogs" very seriously. There were zoomies, there was love, and there were plenty of treats.

​😴 Today's Current Status: Dormant
After all of yesterday's hard work and socializing, the Castle is remarkably quiet today. The pack has officially declared a castle-wide nap time. Lunches have been cleared from the bowls, everyone has successfully completed their outdoor perimeter checks, and right now, it’s just a sea of happy, snoring dogs laying around the floor.

​The bellies are full, the sun is shining, and the dogs are just pure happy today.

🚛 The Mini-Convoy Takes Over Marietta! 🚛

​The Chaos Castle went mobile today! We headed out to the Mid-Ohio Valley Chapter American Truck Historical Society (ATHS) all-truck show, formerly known as the Marietta Transfer All-Truck Show.

​I’ll be honest—I was a little nervous standing there with our "little" trucks next to those massive, legendary rigs. But the trucking community is the best! We ended up having a blast showing off the RC rigs and chatting with so many drivers who wanted to know how to get a "mini-me" version of their own trucks.

​A huge thank you to the Mid-Ohio Valley Chapter ATHS for hosting such a fantastic event and preserving this history. We also got some incredible side-by-side shots with some beautiful rigs from:

​Huntley Trucking (The purple Peterbilt twin! 💜)

​Triple L Trucking (That classic pink GMC Astro cabover was a showstopper! 🎀)

​Whether they are original size or scale model, we all speak the same language: chrome, custom paint, and a whole lot of pride. Thanks for the memories, Marietta!

Today’s lesson from the Chaos Castle:

Presence is everything, and the standards for good companionship are remarkably simple. 🐶❤️

​I’ve been out in the yard for hours, arms officially turned to jelly from the w**d eater. Through it all, my furry shadows have been right there. It is incredibly refreshing to hang out with creatures who know how to just be there with you. They don’t require you to compete with anything for basic attention, When I speak, they actually listen.

​Granted, our "quality time" today means I have to stop what I'm doing every five minutes to yell at Brownie and Red Rose, who firmly believe that a great afternoon involves running off to find a skunk to make friends with. 🦨

​But even while plotting their next ridiculous adventure, they are 100% present. No multi-tasking, no ignoring the person right in front of them, and no wondering if the connection died. Turns out, you don't need a bunch of high-tech gear to figure out how to be a good friend. You just have to show up.

​Now, if I could just teach Red and Brown that skunks are NOT potential best friends, we’d have a perfect system going!

​Attention! The Chaos Castle crew has officially mobilized. All units are in position and battle-ready for today's high-stakes objective: The Great Squirrel Surveillance & Couch Defense Initiative. 🛡️🐾

​Squad Status:

​Ernie: Point man, keeping a low profile on the flank.

​Red Rose & Brownie: Tactical support and perimeter watch.

​Waylon: Intelligence officer (and professional ear-floof specialist).

​Ma: The veteran commander, keeping the youngsters in line.

​Triton: The heavy artillery, holding down the central fort on the sofa.

​Current Objective: Ensure no delivery driver or neighborhood bird passes without a full vocal report. The forts are manned, the tails are wagging, and we are ready for action! 🦴💥

🏰 Chaos Castle Chronicles: The Heart of the Empire

​There’s a lot of talk about "kings" and "owners," but everyone who really knows this Castle knows that Triton is the one who holds it all together.
​I was thinking last night about how lucky I am to have a dog with a heart as big as his. He has this beautiful way of knowing exactly when you need a little extra love. Whether he’s trying to "stealthily" shrink his giant frame to fit on a pillow or stretching all four legs out to claim his space, he does it with such a pure, gentle spirit.

​Triton doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He doesn't care about titles or who "owns" what; he just cares about being close, being kind, and making sure I feel safe. He’s a reminder that being "big" isn't about how loud you are or how much space you take up—it’s about the gentleness you show to the people who love you.

​The Castle wouldn't be a home without his big, goofy heart. He’s more than just a dog; he’s the peace I look forward to at the end of the day. Some people might not see how special a soul like his is, but I see it every single day.

​Love you, big guy. Thanks for always treating my heart with such care. 🐾❤️
