BookGivers BookGivers is a program which distributes free books to people in need and to those experiencing homelessness in Lowell. Donoghue, Representative David M.

BookGivers is a program supported by a grant from the Lowell Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. Every Saturday from 11am-3pm BookGivers distributes books to those in need. We are located right outside the Lowell Transitional Living Center! The library was constructed from shelving and milk crates donated by the community, an o

utpouring of book donations, and volunteers who spent their weekends helping to put this all together! Drop off book donations at the front desk: 193 Middlesex Street, Lowell, MA 01854

We haven't done much promoting for awhile because we had so many great books last summer, but our library finally needs replenishing. Drop off your used books at 193 Middlesex Street in Lowell, a 90 bed homeless shelter for adults.

I know we haven't posted in awhile, but BookGivers is still giving out books to those in need. Our library of donated books supplies the dorms and dayroom at Lowell Transitional Living Center with books.

Peter helping Bookgivers on our first day! We are giving books away every Saturday all spring and summer outside the Lowell Transitional Living Center. LTLC is a shelter housing 90 men and women and serving up to 500 meals a day to those in need. For more check out ltlc.org
