Town of Milliken, thank you for letting me get creative! It’s a rare thing that I get free rein for a mural so I thoroughly enjoyed running with this one. I asked the librarians what some of their favorite books are and you’ll see their titles here. Such fun and whimsy when you return your library books or do a pick up!
Can you tell the folks at Doug's Diner Boulder love a specific majestic creature? 🦬 I had a great time recreating the iconic flatirons and painting some beautiful buffalo! Perhaps I had a little too much fun painting a handsome bison enjoying a great cup of Doug’s coffee because now I want a version of my own for my own home! ☕️ Thank you for letting me paint in so many fun ways this time!
A proud buffalo to greet you as you enter The Butchery opposite the Clint Eastwood mural. These creatures are very impressive and truly awesome. I got to paint quite a few this year! (Future posts coming!)
A new style for me in a new restaurant in Loveland! Thank you Sushirito Loveland for giving me the opportunity to design and paint something I’ve never tried before. If you’ve never had a sushi burrito, I highly recommend it! Also, I loved having my little helper with me! He loves being on ladders now which is both awesome and slightly terrifying.
The Butchery added a couple murals earlier this year! The first one is an old-school portrait of the living legend, Clint Eastwood. Capturing his stare and signature sneer was enjoyable and difficult at the same time. Now everyone who walks through the doors of the Butchery in Arvada receives a hat tip from one of the greatest! Thank you for letting me paint such an icon!
Milliken Skate park got a touch up! I got to make a few changes here and there to enhance the design, but I tried to stay true to the original mural that was here. I did take some input from some of the kids and they even got to help a little bit, which was really enjoyable. I was surprised how difficult it was to stand upright, so most of the top portion was done from above while I was lying on my stomach! It was wonderful to be out in the sunshine and my little helper really loved being on his scooter for so many hours.
I have been dreaming of doing these to my own staircase for years (I have all of my favorite book spines designed but I haven’t had the time). A lady asked me to do this project for her downstairs risers and I was absolutely thrilled to oblige! We even have some of the same titles! This project has solidified my need to make this happen in my home someday. What titles would you choose?
One of the more abstract murals I’ve done! This lady loves the beach and the water, so she wanted a wall that made it feel like she was beneath the ocean waves. She let me feel it out as I went and was very happy with the result- and so was I!
An underwater adventure for the littles at Wuddleitbee childcare in Loveland! I love designing colorful and fun spaces so this was a blast to bring to life. In the baby changing area, I put some cute things to look up at (one turtle, two crabs, three shells, four fish, and a group of five bubbles- also good for babies learning to count!). I particularly love when murals include the ceiling, so these jellyfish make me happy! And of course, I had to include a friendly shark for my eldest.

It was wonderful to visit their Greeley church and give their kids’ area a fun mural like the Fort Collins’ campus. Working a waterfall into the existing wall structure was a fun challenge!
I think this is my longest mural so far (not including word murals). 61’ long! I got to paint the design This is EME created in a new burger restaurant in Boulder. It was great to paint outside my typical box and recreate a style that’s fun and unique. Thank you Wild Pastures Burger Co. for having me paint!
A fun, patterned mountain range that harkens to the colors of the University it’s housed in. The Den at needed a unique backdrop for their campus activities calendar and I got to paint it! Thanks for pushing me to go a little more abstract than I normally do- I like it!

A big verse and a good reminder for the elementary students at St. John the Baptist Catholic School as they walk the stairs each day! It felt so good to be back and holding a paintbrush again. I got to use my favorite gold paint to accent the stars. It reflects the light so beautifully. Thank you!
This chair has been in this woman’s family for over a hundred years! It used to be her great grandfather’s milking stool, so understandably it was looking a little worse for wear. She had this sweet dresser painted decades ago for her daughters and had the fun idea to give the chair new life by making them go together. I got to paint the chair to compliment the original artwork of the dresser!

The beatitudes! Designing and painting these eight blessings from Jesus’ sermon on the mount was a beautiful way to worship. “Blessed are...” is at the top center of the wall and surrounding it are the eight beatitudes that finish each statement. Thank you St. John the Baptist Catholic School for giving me free rein and allowing me to push myself!
An important message no matter your age, where you live, or who you are. I was very happy to paint this for St. John the Baptist Catholic School to help students remember that kindness always counts!
A new life for an old door. This counseling office used to be a bank and part of the waiting room used to be the vault. Now this old vault door has been transformed into a piece of art for the visitors to enjoy! Thank you Heart-Centered Counseling for letting me add a mural to your new location!

A special mural for their son in the armed services. While he’s away, his parents honor his hard work and sacrifice to become a Marine with a two part mural in their garage. A special touch to the 1930’s Marine Corps Art Print on the right- the face is a likeness to their son. Honored to paint this one. @ LaSalle, Colorado

Another mural for El Tradicional Mexican Restaurant & Cantina in Greeley. A mural-ception! A painting of a Pancho Villa sculpture located at the top of Cerro de la Bufa in Zacatecas, Mexico- bringing a little more of the restaurant owners’ city of origin to their new establishment.
Playing with light! The glow and warmth of this mural makes me happy sigh! This is the Zacatecas cathedral and (my interpretation of) the surrounding city at the new El Tradicional Restaurant and Cantina in Greeley. It’s fun to branch out a bit and tackle some beautiful architecture. @ Greeley, Colorado
Mightier than the waves! A “splash” of color for a big, blank wall in a .johnthebaptist elementary hallway. See what I did there?
A very special custom piece! Years ago, a man bought a painted mirror for his wife while they were dating. Then years later it broke on their move to CO. She was devastated. I was able to recreate the painting for him from the one picture he had of the original mirror, then he was able to give it to her this last Christmas. He was kind enough to share her reaction with me, and let’s just say she wasn’t the only one crying.
The last children’s area for Foundations Church is now complete! A campsite theme with a tent for the 4th and 5th graders- it will have a lantern and its own “fire pit” in the near future. Some of the best discussions happen around the campfire right? I made the tent out of a drop cloth that I then painted orange to match the rest of the murals in the church. I love this vibe so much!
The wolf room! This is for the 2nd and 3rd graders at Foundations Church in Windsor. I am especially glad I got to paint over the black door on the right. Trees are far better than a big old door!
The bear and ram room for the Kindergarten and first graders at Foundations Church in Windsor has my favorite mountains.
The 4 & 5 year old room at the Foundations Church Windsor campus is on the more majestic side I think.
The three year old room at Foundations Church has pelicans and trout! Don’t worry, they’re cute fish.
The 2 year old room at Foundations Church is so sweet and fun! Orange is my favorite color so I enjoyed using some pops of orange to match the accent wall.
I had the honor of painting all the children’s rooms at Foundations Church’s new campus in Windsor, CO. This is the nursery for the littlest of the members. Thank you Foundations for letting me paint some whimsy on your walls! I loved this project. More pictures to come!
You are... so many things! Why not help students see all the things they are as they work so hard? St. John the Baptist Catholic School encourages their students left and right! Here is a new mural right when they walk in the front door. I love all the colors and the idea they shared with me to recreate! Thanks for having me back!
Adding some school spirit to the middle school corridor of St. John the Baptist Catholic School and reminders of what makes them the mighty Vikings! These students were so wonderful, encouraging, and thankful while I was painting. It did my heart good to see such polite and caring students! Thank you for letting me come back again and paint SJB!
