Studio drk llc 2AM series earned it's name after Rhonda had a sleepless night and created the first pieces in that series. She woke up at 3AM this morning and couldn't get back to sleep; there were ideas for glaze combinations and new forms spinning in her head. Is this the start to a 3AM series?? Either way, several strong cups of tea in a beautiful hand crafted mug ARE in Rhonda's future!

Where do we begin? The Smithsonian Craft Show has been on our Wonder List for quite some time. We were able to attend last week and we are so glad we did. Today I'll show Ceramic Arts.
Tomorrow we add to our Wonder List. We head to Washington DC to attend the Smithsonian Craft Show 120 juried artists will be showing their crafts in the National Building Museum. We'll have a few days in DC and then head to....
We were glad to be a part of this event in 2021 and look forward to participating this year!

When our kids were young, we used to have them clean their rooms to "Granny clean" meaning ready for a visit from their grandmother. So in preparation for the Artists of the Loveland Art Studio Tour this October, we "Granny Cleaned" the studio! We're sure to mess it up as we're continuing design work, but be sure to come to our studio on the tour, Oct 9&10 or 16&17.

Whew! The first of two firings for our Loveland Museum pieces is done and successful. We're creating a Galaxy Platter and an Acorn Rim Design piece for display as part of the Artists of the Loveland Art Studio Tour. Stop into the museum to view after September 11th, or better yet, come see what else we've pulled from the kiln during the tour October 9, 10, 16, & 17.
