Delivered a few new things to —interlocking “Romeo & Juliet” charcuterie boards and cheese slicing boards! There are plenty of items left for last minute shopping!
Fine woodworking, furniture, home & office decor, artwork, and commissions. Traditional Tools / Qua They both love a good craft beer.
John and Marc first met and became friends in 2012 during a young professionals business networking event where they discovered they are both musicians with similar interests in musical genres. Their friendship grew after a couple of basement jam sessions, John on guitar and Marc on drums. Soon they started a 90s rock band, Cable Ten, with a few of their buddies and spent the next several years pe
rforming all around Northern Colorado. They came to realize they had a lot more in common than a mutual interest in music. They have similar tastes in movies and TV shows (they are equally and aggressively capable at Friends and The Office trivia). They are active artists in other areas besides music (John is a graphic designer and sculptor and Marc is a stained glass artist). They both enjoy camping, a good hockey game, a fine meal, and a lively discussion of the greatest songwriters of the 90s over a glass of whiskey. John & Marc’s interests dovetailed again around the end of 2020 when both were looking to make some changes in their lives. They both knew of each other’s experience in woodworking but hadn’t before considered turning it into a business. The idea began as a whim but after a few ‘business’ meetings over coffees and beers, it blossomed into a full-fledged effort to fill Marc’s existing workshop with tools. So here they are with a new venture, a great little shop, and thrilling optimism. They are excited to bring their complementing abilities, an eye for detail, and fine craftsmanship together to create small furniture, home and office décor pieces, and attractive artwork.

Well, that's a pretty awesome review if we do say so ourselves! 😊
Last night we celebrated our 2 year anniversary with the annual "filing" of our R&D projects. As we disposed of them, we discussed what we learned from each project challenge.
Some cherry and walnut ornaments are in the works!
Looking for custom company gifts this year? We made several of these resin and walnut logo art pieces for a company out East (we had to keep these under our hats until they were given to the employees). The resin is translucent so it have a nice stained glass effect when hanging in the window (see second photo).

So many cutoffs. What should we make with them? 🤷♂️
When creating the splines for picture frames, use a biscuit joiner to cut the slots. It's a lot faster than setting up the table saw with our spline jig!
We are thriled to be working with Julie with The Bungalow Craft by Julie Leidel . We are making frames for her stunning artwork. We met her at several of the art fairs over the summer and we really impressed with her work. You can check out her work here. https://www.thebungalowcraft.com
