If I’ve ever made “this” look too easy, I assure you, it is not.
For some reason mentioning the downsides of reselling or YouTube or simply being overwhelmed gets a bad rap… it’s all , but it’s not all black and white. We have a duty to give a realistic glimpse yet, at times can be shamed for doing so.
We don’t all have the same aspirations, background, personality, PRIORITIES, triggers.
For some, wearing a GoPro out is nothing, while others like myself shake in our boots every single time we walk onto someone else’s property with a camera strapped to our chest.
Some ppl, like myself, don’t like highly competitive sales with ppl getting upset or crowding you out. And you know what? That’s ok! I stayed home this morning bc I just wasn’t up to it and that’s ok!
Screw . Mental health matters. Being genuine matters.
A lot of us resellers have full time jobs or children or both. Those that don’t, might be able to respond to every comment and message while someone like myself, wears the guilt of not responding heavily on my shoulders. Choosing to spend those “spare” minutes with our family vs responding to comments is a choice I have to make daily. I try my best to find balance, but it’s a battle I have not yet won.
We see the constant comparisons when there is no comparison to be made. Your story and life doesn’t compare to mine or anyone else’s.
I would take a second look at any “YouTuber” that tries to make themselves look better than those around them. What’s the real point here other than tooting your own horn? Most of us are just regular people that turned to YouTube to share knowledge, better ourselves and our future. I’m not here for fame or to be better than anyone. I’m here for my family and my love of reselling.
Today, I am just feeling overwhelmed and exhausted and I can say so if I damn well please. Reselling and YouTube life aren’t a fairytale. It’s hard work everyday and sometimes this Momma needs a break.
