I have to write everything down because this time it must be documented.

I've seen plenty of them come before Eddie. They always arrive with big ideas and promises even bigger.

Most don't stay long enough to matter....

But Eddie.... Eddie feels different. He actually seems to care. I'll give him that....

Still, I wonder how long it'll take before the LADY decides if she cares about him or not!

HOTEL NOTES: Almost...SHE'S ALMOST READY

I took one final walk through the hotel tonight, making sure everything was exactly where it belonged. The floors are finished, the rooms are ready, and for the first time in a long while, this old place feels alive again.

Most people only see the stories attached to these walls. The murders. The fire. The rumors. I've never understood that. I've always thought people spent so much time talking about what happened here that they forgot to appreciate what was still here.

Mr. Gribbons left me quite a project, but I think she'd be proud of herself now. Funny. I keep saying "she."

Maybe I've just spent too much time in this building. Either way, soon our first guests arrive, and I couldn't be more pleased in the way she has turned out....
