Profile of a pale mare, original size, 16” x 20” on Cold press Paper. Also added one I did about 10 years back of my father when he was in 🇫🇷. I’ll be giving away one of the Pale mare prints that had a misprint ( a small portion of the muzzle is slightly snipped, I’ll post a pic in comments section) to a lucky person! I’ve been finally putting in some time into organizing my website, and in the process I came across this old work from 2016 or so. It’s a detailed image of My first n**e painting. A local model. The original reference photo was in black and white, and I had to make up the colors, so I decided to really play with the hues, adding purples, blues and pinks. Depending on the light source , her skin tone changes from a tanned appearance to bronze. It looks way off normal, but I like the bronze effect. I have a new piece of this same model in my drawing section, and I’m starting another large scale black and white painting, in case any n**e art collectors are interested. This piece has been hanging in the studio for 5 years, waiting for its final adjustments. It’s a beautiful storm filled night to hit the “resume “ button on her. This one’s titled, “The Pale Mare”.

It’s been drawing, and sign painting all week long. Friday night it’s cold Coor’s and working for my Goyita. All my tia’s had their specific plants like their personalities. Goya loved cactus. Going to put some time into the picture and work in some cactus flowers around her.

St Michael Church is developing! There something about graphite that a photograph just cant equal. If you have any cherished photos (an old photograph of a family member standing in front of home, an original authentic looking scene, etc) you would like rendered in graphite, feel free to DM me for more info. I really enjoy doing structures/ landscapes, and I’m looking for work in that area. Figures can be present in scenes, but must not dominate the image, and price will slightly increase the more figures are present. Portraits can also be rendered but cost will be significantly higher and certain portraits I won’t even attempt. It really depends on certain factors. But I’m open to hear your thoughts, so don’t hesitate to contact me. Also if you haven’t already, please give my art page a follow, it really helps get my work out there.
