Garlic is supposed to be one of the best natural remedies when you’re feeling under the weather. When you crush or chew raw garlic it releases a compound called allicin, and that’s where the magic is. Allicin is antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and has been shown to stimulate your immune system when it needs it most. Cooking destroys most of it so raw is the way to go, but WOOF. Don’t fall for those accounts making this look easy 😅 unless they’re super human, this is a real experience lol. Worth it, because coupled with a couple other remedies like echinacea, oregano, zinc and vitamin d I’m feeling all better 🥰
