The Floricanto Center for the Performing Arts The Floricanto Center for the Performing Arts offers classes to the community in folklorico, mariachi, jarana and zapateado.

Now located in Boyle Heights The Floricanto Center for the Performing Arts is the home of Danza Floricanto/USA, the oldest existing Mexican folk dance company in the United States and the Floricanto Institute, the teaching arm of the organization. These classes are taught by some of the most respected leaders in their field.

Have you been here? Best Mexican food outside of East L.A. Plus there will be Mariachis 7-9pm. This is a FUNDRAISER FOR Floricanto! And some of us will be there. They have a mean Cocido for us Seniors, Tacos, Enchiladas, guisados. You name it. Porque las p***s con pan son buenas. Y tambien hay mezcal!! You can also order to go, and, as long as you mention Floricanto, we will get our share. Hope to see you there!!

The Floricanto Center for the Performing Arts offers traditional performances in folklorico with live music. We also offer a Dia de los Mu***os Celebration, Dia del Niñ0 and Mariachi Fesivals. Our Floricanto Institute provides after school classes to the community in folklorico, mariachi, jarana and zapateado taught by some of the most respected leaders in their field.
