The team of Maud//The Madness is proud to debut the show at an LA LGBT location. The Village at Ed Gould Plaza offers services ranging from cultural to health-related, and contains two theatres: The Renberg and The Davidson/Valentini. The latter space is home this June to Maud//The Madness, and many other Fringe shows. As a part of the Los Angeles LGBT centers, The Village does not operate in isolation. There are eight different locations in Los Angeles and they offer a range of services which fall under four categories: Health, Social Services and Housing, Culture and Eduction, Leadership and Advocacy. It’s a truly remarkable organization that has championed the rights and celebrated the existence of LGBT individuals since its foundation.
It is as well a fitting home for our show as we present an examination upon the consequences of masculinity and isolation from community.
