Happy New Year, Everyone! I'm excited to begin a new focused adventure of moving forward and seeing us all thrive. We still have a little while to reach our final goal of 54,000. Right now we are hoping to hit the $42,000 by February 14, 2021. If we can do that, then we can move forward with captioning more of our "Meet The Biz" episodes, get funding for our annual Bond, among many other necessities for our program. Thank you for helping us to reach our goal for an all inclusive family.

LOOKING FOR PHOTOS OF COUPLES WITH DOWN SYNDROME
I’m looking for photos of couples who have Down syndrome to share their love as part of a music video for the song HEY LOVE written and sung by Chris Hendricks in the short documentary HUNNY-BUNNY that was a part of the EasterSeals Disability Film Challenge 2020.

A short version of the song appears during the credits. It is now going to have its own music video and we want to celebrate other couples from the Down syndrome community by including their photos in the music video. We ask that at least one of the individuals in the couple have a diagnosis of Down syndrome.
There is no compensation for this, this has all been a labor of love. To be considered to be included you need to provide a photo that you own, the first and last names of the individuals in the couple, and a memorable date that will tell us something about your relationship; a first date, an engagement, a marriage, first met, first kiss, something to go with the photo. And a release form from each of the individuals featured in the photo. If not attached, contact [email protected] for a release form.
There is no guarantee that your photo will be used, it will be submitted to the music video editor for consideration and submitted to the webmaster of the HUNNY-BUNNY website for consideration. We do hope to use as many as possible.
Photos and release forms must be submitted together, and sent to [email protected]. We will need the photos and release forms by Sunday, August 30th.
The film HUNNY-BUNNY shares the 16-year love story of Blair Williamson and Susie Q Schallert of Los Angeles. They look forward to having other HUNNY-BUNNYS in the Music Video with them.

EXTENDED DUE DATE: Thursday June 18, 2020 due by 11:59 PM.

The three Winners of the Contest will have their films shown and join myself, Producer Betsy Chasse and the Founder of Performing Arts Studio West, and the man we all love, John Paizis, during the filming of the episode on Monday June 29, 2020 at 2:00 to 3:00 pm.

ASSIGNMENT: Make a one minute film

We are so close, yet so far.

The total we have raised over the past several years, at this moment, is now $31,560!
We are only $4,440 away from our goal that we need to reach that will cover the all-inclusive "Meet The Biz" workshops, classes, and events through January 2020.

By donating any amount, it will help us to keep bringing together artists with and without disabilities to continue to work together in a workshop setting and help create a more inclusive family in the entertainment community.

If you have enjoyed and learned from our classes, workshops and events and want to see more, or have been wanting to check out what we are about, or are just hearing about them and would like to find out more and help us keep going, we would greatly appreciate any love, support and help.
