For the record, I actually fry maybe twice a month. I truly enjoy and eat what you would call “rabbit food” . I enjoy simple thangs like avocado toast, as shown here. Ain’t nothin like perfectly ripe 🥑 with a pinch of sea salt eaten alone or smeared over your favorite bread l, lightly toasted 🤤 🌱💚

BIG SHOUT OUT TO all the volunteers for the superb ex*****on of the pitch contest last night. The venue and logistics were on point. I am@blessed to have been a presenter and a winner of such a well planned and organized production. It makes me even more proud to be a resident of Fayette County!

I was so happy to finally meet in the flesh. We’ve been all electronic cool for over a year. She is the bomb at what she does. She keeps us well informed and responses quickly all the time- a true professional!

I’m also pictured here with Letitia, who made my connection with Kale to the Chef possible. I really appreciate her support and keeping it real with me always!

THE WINNERS CIRCLE

Couldn’t help but note that all the winners of the 2023 Fayette Chamber Pitch Contest are Black Women AND the businesses promote health!

First place winner was with a SOBER bar .

Second place was me with my Round the Way Vegan Restaurant.

Third place was , a raw juice company. I personally tasted her juice and it really is top tier!

Audience favorite was with the Cafe Sanctuary. I so appreciate her LITERALLY being a sanctuary keeping me calm and centered when she saw I was all nervous and worrisome!

AND we’re all starting this in a Georgia suburb—- crushing the narrative that we have to go all the way into ATL to consume these things!

MORE ABOUT BREAKTHROUGH…
Woke up to a text from my sister that my brother in law and 63 year old uncle had maxed all the creamy red beans I left them for thanksgiving…these are men who eat meat yall. They don’t care nothin bout veganism. Beans without smoked meat don’t make since to them😉
