Please Come Back to Me (On the Eve of Christmas)” is officially out TODAY on all platforms! Please Come Back to Me (On the Eve of Christmas)was a bonus track from the recording sessions of what became Here and Nowhere, our new record, which did not make it to the final album. John’s song was inspired by holiday travel, in this case, a harrowing 12-hour drive from Chicago to New Orleans through a winter storm in Missouri and Arkansas that saw me driving over the Mississippi river bridge in Memphis in several feet of snow, being stuck on the interstate, and finding a Red Roof in in West Memphis to wake up on Christmas Eve… typical holiday travel nightmare story. We had an amazing kick off to the Here and Nowhere fall tour last night at the Barns at ! We’d like to thank Tim and the rest of the staff for providing an absolutely great experience top to bottom.

The venue is a reconstructed German barn originally erected in upstate New York in the 1740s. It’s one of the warmest and best sounding rooms we’ve been in in a while. We’re headed out to Philadelphia for Ardmore musical tonight!
