However Igor was born in a small Slovenian town of Kranj, the study & life in Russia put a colorful stamp on Igor himself as well as on his artistic work.

Alya Hanen Elouissi jumped in to help me with a self-tape audition when I urgently needed a scene partner in Russian and English.
The result? Done in record time. And yes… we probably laughed more than any casting director would appreciate 😄
Since neither of us knows how to do things “halfway,” we used the break to hatch a new plan:
👉 we’re creating a comedy together — AN EVENING WITH A CHERRY ON TOP (by Anton Fink).
Premiere? This fall.
Under whose banner? Of course — Slovene National Theatre Kranj Association.
If all auditions were like this… I’d be applying for something every single day 😉

No, I didn’t change careers. 😄
I just… stepped back into a role.
I perform a monodrama called Jesus, My Boy written by John Dowie.
where I play Joseph — a father trying to understand something bigger than himself.
And since theatre lives on imagination…
I let AI take it one step further
and bring “my son” into the scene. 😉
Strange? Maybe.
But also kind of beautiful.
Because at the end of the day, it’s still about:
love, warmth, and hope finding their way. ❤️
