Do your research before you take your kids to a show. Watch the trailer, do a quick Google search....the information is literally at your fingertips. It's not difficult.

I'm not good at taking selfies... let alone gym selfies.

Getting a session in while my mind is scattered is important. It's grounding, it helps keep me focused, and it keeps me honest.

I was 273lbs when I started this. Hard to believe for some, maybe. Now I'm at 260lbs after 38 days of eating better, working out at 30-60min at least 4 times a week, and increasing my water intake to at least 64oz a day as long as I remember to keep drinking from my canteen.

My clothes fit different, I have more energy moat days, and overall I am becoming the person I want to be.

I'm doing this not just for myself, but to show the world I'm worthy, I'm here, I'm going to get that Oscar, and I'm going to look damn good doing it.

I started a fitness journey almost 2 weeks ago.

In those two weeks, I've changed my eating habits, gotten active, and changed my mindset.

I wasn't always overweight. I hear from people that I "carry the weight well". I never have and never will take any offense regarding that.

But I can, with all honesty and self acceptance, that I've never seen my own abs before. I've never been completely happy with how I look in the mirror.

I let depression, loneliness, and laziness dictate how I take care of myself, or maybe how to not take care of myself.

This journey is going to be a long one. I've tried this before. This time I'm doing it right and I'm doing it for me.

Join me on this path as I become a better person, a better actor, and the star I know I am.
