One of my first clients here in LA, who has been working with me on her entire tattoo collection, came back for her next piece!

Her idea of decorating and collecting art on her body as a way to love herself even more really resonated with me as a tattoo artist, and it makes me so proud of the work I get to do.

Mindy, you said this was your last one… but hopefully I’ll see you again soon 😊 You can also check out our tattoo journey through the little cartoon I made.

Extension of Alison’s sleeve piece—blending the fairy tales of her childhood with her deep passion for the ocean, inspired by her past as a seal rescuer.

Connecting his existing tattoos into one natural flow.

Flowers always make the perfect bridge—I love creating movement and harmony throughout the body.

Figuring out the right tattoo design for each client is a delicate process. When I collaborate with my clients to refine a design, their reactions and feedback help guide me toward what they truly envision for the final piece.

However, when too many outside opinions come in, it can become confusing and overwhelming—and sometimes takes away from the creative flow and excitement of the process.

When you trust your artist, sharing your thoughts directly with them makes a huge difference. That trust not only creates better communication, but also motivates us to do our best work.

I’m always grateful for clients who trust my vision and appreciate what I create—it truly means so much to me. Thank you to everyone who gives me the creative freedom to bring your ideas to life. 🙏🏼❤️

My Gisaeng series is now available.

Each piece is created with traditional Korean pigments on 6” x 8” watercolor paper.
Available through the link in my bio.

Gisaeng were professional female entertainers in historical Korea, trained in music, dance, poetry, and conversation. While they were respected for their artistic skill and cultural knowledge, they also occupied a complex social position, often serving elite men within a rigid class system.

In this series, I reimagine them anew, their bodies adorned with tattoos—
where history meets rebellion,
and elegance carries a quiet defiance.
