The Future of Storytelling is Here 🎬✨ Parents of 7th–12th graders: Your children are integral to changing the narrative for Muslims. The MPAC® Hollywood Bureau is looking for the next generation of American Muslim storytellers to reshape how our community is seen in entertainment media.

This is an early-stage opportunity through The Muslim Vertical™ platform - a space we built specifically to support and amplify our creative voices.

Who: Creative students in grades 7 through 12.

When: Submissions are open NOW through July 30, 2026.

After running out of funds and knocking on every closed door in the US, she found the “wind in her sails” through the grassroots generosity of the Malaysian people.

That was the actual headline (essentially) when Aasif Mandvi joined in 2006. Before the era of Hasan Minhaj or Trevor Noah, Aasif was a Broadway actor breaking a massive “Caucasian-only” streak in late-night satire.
