The evening was filled with so much love! From connecting deeper with the artists and their work, to truly feeling the nuances of each piece after the conversation and to learning more about the love behind the journey of each artist.

What a lovely night! Thank you to everyone who came to our Artist Talk and supported our artists from The Love We Give! And a big thank you to our artists as well!

It was a sweet ending as we close out The Love We Give this Sunday. We’ll have a closing reception to celebrate the exhibition, so if you couldn’t make it for the artist talk then come out Sunday. More info coming soon!

In the Clouds by
Acrylic & airbrush on canvas

About Sisi:
Stylistically, her work leans toward pop surrealism, combining bold, bright colors with dreamlike imagery that feels both playful and provocative. Through this lens, she seeks to challenge perceptions of feminine sensuality and frame it as powerful, unapologetic, and multifaceted.
By blending personal storytelling with surreal and clever imagery, her work seeks to both honor heritage and reframe it in a modern context.

Meet Sisi Hood, one of the beautifully talented artists currently showing in The Love We Give. She is a visual artist based in Los Angeles. For the past 14 years, she has developed a practice that spans acrylic painting, airbrush, sculpture, mixed media, and installation art. Her work explores themes of femininity and the power of strong female figures, often drawing on her Japanese-American heritage and childhood memories as sources of inspiration.

Can’t wait to deep dive into some questions about her artistic inspirations and influences, and what else she’s working on currently. So much to chat about, learn and share this Friday!

Oil on canvas

All paintings fully pictured are by Alé Reviere.

About Alé:
Working intuitively across two and three dimensional forms, Reviere draws on natural systems and organic structures to create works that feel held, grounded, and alive. Her practice continues to evolve through curiosity, material experimentation, and a commitment to art as a sensorial and spiritual encounter.

Meet Alé Reviere, one of the talented artists currently showing in The Love We Give. Alé is a multidisciplinary artist working across painting, sculpture, set design, biophilic interior design, and fragrance.

Her work centers on how art is felt physically, emotionally, and intuitively. Through oil and acrylic painting, clay-based sculpture, and sensorial environments, Reviere’s practice is rooted in the belief that art operates as an exchange with the subconscious through texture, color, scale, and atmosphere. Her process is intuitive and spirit-led, shaped by observation and emotional resonance. The work is made in conversation with the viewer, leaving space for personal interpretation and emotional response.

We’re truly grateful for her work in the gallery and so excited to talk with her and others this Friday! Most looking forward to engaging in conversation about her artistry and creative process.

Fun fact: Alé is showing the largest piece we have on view and she stretched the beautifully made canvas by hand; herself! Let’s see if you can figure out which piece it is.

Join us this Friday at 7pm!

A Dreamer by

Acrylic on canvas

All paintings photographed are by Aery Briggs

More about Aery:
Being a self-starter with a spontaneous personality, she tends to dive in deep into whichever new project she resonates with, making sure her passion and dedication is illuminated in her art. With time she wanted to expand her self expression and tell a story that could not only heal herself and her family, but heal her community. Her newest and most personal project yet is The Art of Taking up Space; A continued series where she shines a light on the Black home, Black community , and healing childhood trauma. Her goal is to give people a chance to escape the gloom and trauma of the world and their past. While also giving them a safe place to connect back to their inner- child.

She believes reconnecting with our inner-child will heal us all.

Meet Aeryonna Briggs (Aery), one of the amazing artists currently showing in The Love We Give. She is based in Los Angeles, CA and has worked as an apparel designer for 10 years. As a visual artist her main practice is in acrylics, pencil, and collage mediums. Often referred to as a free-spirit with a big personality, her artwork is seen as playful and warm. Her experience as a designer gave her a creative outlet in fabric, color, sewing, and pattern construction . As a child she always knew her calling would be in some type of creative field as she has been drawing and designing since the third grade. She has always had an extreme love for working with her hands and believes they are her greatest tool and gift.

Very excited to gain more insight on her artistic journey and what else she’s working on for future projects. So much to discuss, learn and share this Friday!
